Nestled conveniently close to both the Swiss and French borders, Ott's Hotel Weinwirtschaft & Biergarten is a gem that truly feels like a warm embrace after days spent conquering the Alps. My room was impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed that provided much-needed rest, along with a lovely private bathroom - the hot shower was nothing short of divine. Dining at the on-site restaurant was an exquisite experience; the rich breakfast buffet set the tone for our travels ahead, and the international cuisine is a delightful homage to the region's seasonal specialties, catering to both adventurous and vegetarian palates. With easy access to the Tram 8 just a stone's throw away, exploring the charming locale of Weil am Rhein and neighboring Basel was seamless. I deeply appreciated the personal touches from the staff, especially the kind gesture of an umbrella escort during a sudden downpour, highlighting the excellent service that defines this hotel.
